Try OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi instead of OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.

Eliminate unneeded kexts from Clover/kexts. First, it is impossible that you have Realtek+Intel+Atheros Ethernet. And you don't need Ethernet to boot the installer anyway. Note that if you plan to use your built-in keyboard and trackpad, you will need PS2 kexts (or you can use USB keyboard/mouse... if USB happens to work).

Also, it seems your Clover is rather old (r3423).

I was referring to the Atheros Wifi card replacement (originally an Intel Wifi card). I tried both versions of OSxAptioFix as well, that didn't really fix anything for some reason :(. I'm also wondering why Clover is so old and lacking so many kexts, I used the newest version of Unibeast. The PS2 kext was nowhere to be found on the drive when the Unibeast USB was created.

Unibeast is not optimized for laptops.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Hi RehabMan, could you please also help me out with this T430? I've gone through the installation steps at the beggining of this topic, got everything working to the point where I am able to boot the Capitan installation (10.11.1 Unibeast stick I have saved from a previous build), but... using the files posted on the first page I am not able to properly use my screen... got all pink color and lines... not sure if it's a DSDT thing or ig-platform-id issue. The system boots, display preferences show 1600x900, system reports HD4000 1536MB, but the laptop is of course unusable (image stretched). Also, not sure if I should force load the kexts in Kexts/other or not... the provided config.plist doesn't seem to show anything like that.
Attached ioreg and clover zip. Thank you very much for all the help!

This ioreg was not collected after booting with the CLOVER.zip you provided... (KextsToPatch in the config.plist shows 8 patches, but there is only one shown by your Clover bootlog extracted from ioreg).

It is as if you're booting with a USB stick with a different setup.

And that DSDT.aml you have is injecting 0x01660003 which, of course, does not match your screen configuration.

Sorry about that... this is my first attempt on a custom install :( Attached the booted ioreg.

This one correlates... and the problem is obvious. You're injecting 0x01660003 with DSDT.aml (as I said in my previous post). It is not appropriate for 1600x900. You need 0x01660004.

Not sure if it was 0x01660004 or acpi config, but I got it working. Also I installed Clover with OsXAptioFixDrv-64 (instead of V2) if it makes any difference.
Acpi changes for display issue - Fix Display and Drop Oem Intel GFX (both ticked - only one or the other didn't do the trick)
Now if I could only get screen brightness and sound to work... :)) Ah... brightness is in System Preferences.... silly me :D
Sound tomorrow, that should be easier to fix :D

Again... my bad. I used kext wizard to reinstall the audio kext and from the same kext wizard rebuilt the cache and fixed permissions. I also have sound!!! I'm done! Good night and thank you very much for the help!!!

L.E. - forgot to mention Gui page in clover configurator was also configured to match 1600x900.

Hi Guys...
I have a T530 which uses also ALC269, which I got to work with the current AppleALC.kext in combination with the unpatched AppleHDA.
Did anybody realize that the internal microphone is not working with Layout-ID 28, even so a Headset microphone, i.e. iPhone earpods, are working?
I switch to Layout-ID 29 for a test and now all Audio In-/Outputs are working.
Simple issue: the internal microphone is always on... :)
Since the T530, and I guess the T430, have a dedicated "Microphone Mute button", it would be great to have this working in OSX...
LenovoAudioButtons.jpg

Since the dedicated "Speaker mute button" and the "Volume control button" already work, I just want to get a hint, if the usage of the "Microphone Mute button" would be activated in the VoodooPS2Controller.kext.
In the DSDT the button seems to be connected to the following snippet:

Code:
                    Scope (\_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC)
                    {
                        Method (_Q6A, 0, NotSerialized) // _Qxx: EC Query
                        {
                            If (HDMC)
                            {
                                Noop
                            }
                            ElseIf (^HKEY.MHKK (0x04000000))
                            {
                                ^HKEY.MHKQ (0x101B)
                            }
                        }
                    }

Any ideas?
