It is likely that BrcmPatchRAM2.kext is not the same version as BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext.

You have BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext 2.2.2, but BrcmPatchRAM2.kext is not showing in ioreg like it should. Likely mismatched.

Current version is 2.2.3. You should update both.

Note: CPU PM not implemented. Could cause problems beyond CPU performance. You should fix.

Avoid installing 3rd party system software until your system is stable/done (I see LittleSnitch, Boom in ioreg).

Your config.plist lacks the patches needed for 5Ghz and handoff.

I updated BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and erased IOBluetoothFamily-10.11.3.kext but then nothing works :/
I added the patches to config.plist also
How do I implement the CPU PM?
 
Having some extreme WiFi issues. TP-Link Archer T9E AC1900 BCM4360


  1. WiFi working fine on some networks, like my home network, but in other locations I get a "connection timed out" response. This is many other networks I have tried in many different places. It's definitely the WiFi card and not the network.
  2. 10.10.5 / X99-E WS / Newest / Haswell-E Xenon / Geforce 980
  3. None. The broadcom chip I have is supposed to work OOB (?)
  4. IOReg/File/Save a Copy As... or IOJones/File/Save As.. (1 or 2, not both)

I updated BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and erased IOBluetoothFamily-10.11.3.kext but then nothing works :/
I added the patches to config.plist also

IOBluetoothFamily is a required system kext for bluetooth. Use the OS X installer to restore it.

now bluetooth is working and Wifi but as i said i just see 5ghz networks

my laptop is acer travelmate 255-M see my profile for specification.

my wifi card is ar956x therefore it is not compatible with OS X.
my friend has ar9285 in his laptop.
i just want to confirm if i will swap the 2 wifi adapters.

does will work on my laptop ar9285 el capitan 10.11.3?
sorry for my bad english.

Yes, it should work but it's not native.
Follow the guide on post #1 for injection.
 
what do you mean its not native?it will work but there is no airport icon?like that?

Native drivers work, but it requires device-id inject or injector kext. Read post #1.
