Hi all !

I'm giving a try to Chimera 2.2 in order to enable HD4000 + GTX650 on a Z77X-UD5H (see Master Audio Build in my signature for full specs).

So far I'm booting with GraphicsEnabler=No and IGPEnabler=Yes. The system boots from the HD4000 and once OSX is loaded the GTX650 starts working.

Currently I have an Asus display at 1920x1080 connected to the HD4000 (via HDMI), and the GTX650 is feeding two displays at 1920x1080 (via DVI).

So far so good! But I have some doubts/questions:

- Which platform-id should I use? Is this value related to the memory setting for the HD4000 in BIOS? Would it be better to just don't include a platform-id at boot?

- My previous DSDT (compiled via MaciASL and pjalm's patches) was enabling HDMI audio for the GTX650 (before the GTX650 was feeding the three displays, all with HDMI audio), so now the HD4000 has no HDMI audio. What would be the best way to enable HDMI audio on both HD4000 and discrete Nvidia GTX650?

Thanks in advance!

HI Ultrazone, since chimera 2.2 I'would start working on hd4000 + gtx650ti, same mobo and a 3770k i7 cpu.
For now I have vga monitors (I know that vga is not supported on ml and require some edits) besides that I never got it to boot as soon as I enable the hd4000, I've tried a few memory configs and nothing, always got a spinning wheel forever...for now I have a sysdef imac13,2 and I will try others. what kind of igpplatformid and memory are you using??? :banghead::banghead::banghead:
Tks

I've got something if I use Mem 64 ONLY and avoid the system hanged at with spinning wheel booting first from IGP ONLY, then It shows the hd4000 at system profiler with 768megs with the monitor connected to gtx650ti VGA port, also remake the DSDT just in case. For now the system boots with flags: <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>No</string>
<key>IGPEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>IGPlatformID</key>
<string>0166000A</string>
And I will start working with HD4000 edits

Hi !

I'm using MacMini6,2 as sysdef, 64MB in BIOS, IGPEnabler=Yes (for HD4000) and GraphicsEnabler=No (for Nvidia 6xx).

The only problem is that I can't set IGPlatformID to 000A. System Profiler always shows 0009, no matter what parameter I choose with IGPlatformID. I believe this is why I can't enable HDMI audio over HD4000.

I connect two displays to the GTX650 via DVI and the third display to the HD4000 via HDMI. I'm using custom DSDT (made with MaciASL+Pjalm patches) to have HDMI audio over the GTX650, but I have tried every possible combination of patches through pjalm's choices to no avail: no HDMI audio over HD4000, but yes over GTX650… :bang head:

This is the only "problem" with my build right now. Everything else is working at its best (sleep/wake, USB3, network, audio, Speedstep…).

I haven't tried with VGA connections, but I would avoid them as a rule of thumb.

Let me know your findings… Hope this helps !
