I'm building a MacPro off of CustoMac and I'm not sure I'm a fan of the Carbine 500r mid case. I would prefer more USB connections with awesomely good looks! Oh ya, and cooling too. Money is no object.

The guts:

Mobo : GA-Z77X-UP5-TH
Processor : Intel Core i7-3770K

GPU : GeForce GTX 670 FTW *Plan on eventually adding another to SLI
RAM : (2 x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance LP
PSU :Corsair 750watt gold
Sony Optiarc DVD R/W
TP-Link PCI Express
1 HDD + 2 SSDs
 
The most awesome case I've ever seen is the BMW Thermaltake Level 10. It has a styling like no other and I was very close to bying one, but it won't house my Noctua DH14 cooling solution. Well that and it is actually more than 600 € and I only found it on ebay in a shop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, so shipping is also very expensive.

Wow! That case would be appropriate if I was running skynet. lol, I like it though! I think I will continue to look for something a little less existentialist. Nothing is really hitting the mark yet unfortunately...

I wouldn't - just look at all those horizontal surfaces to catch dust. You would spend more time dusting the case than using the contents :lol:

If you like nice plain cases, then you would probably like Lian Li ( http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product04.php?cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=62&num=1 ) or Silverstone ( http://www.silverstonetek.com/product_case.php?go=Y&area=en ) although the Raven series is getting more stylish looks. If you want to get fancier, there is NZXT ( http://www.nzxt.com/new/product.php?series_name=Crafted+Series&series=2 ). If you are into lights and fancy fronts there is Modtek ( http://modtekusa.com/index.php?page=products ) especially the Alien cases

Yeah, but it is like they merged the best features of the Corsair 800D and the original Cosmos RC-1000 that I have the -UD7 in.

Or are you talking about the Level 10? It kinda looks like something from a campy 60's sci-fi movie to me. Guess I am just too conservative for the modern generation :mrgreen:
