First, I am as new to this as it gets, so forgive my ignorance. I've searched the forums regarding this topic, but I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone could address my specific setup/installation to see where I may have gone wrong. I have installed Mavericks 10.9.4 and used the latest MultiBeast.
I'll start with my build:
gigabyte ga-z87x-ud5 th - (FYI - I have not updated the BIOS - perhaps I should do that first?)
intel i7 4790k 4.3 ghz
crucial ballistix elite 16 gb 2x8 - *only using 1 stick at this point as recommended
samsung ssd 128gb - For OSx boot
1 TB SATA for Mac Data
1 TB SATA where I have Windows 7 installed
DVD optical drive

BIOS Settings
vt-d disabled
EHCI Hand-off Enabled
XHCI Hand-off Enabled
Disabled Wake on LAN
Set xHCI mode to Auto (Started with Smart Auto)
Set Memory to Profile 1

MultiBeast Selections: Basically copied this entry (these are old as it is a copy from someone else's post that I imputed to my installation with the latest corresponding values)

Thanks for your time and all your advice will be appreciated.

Can you boot into verbose mode (use -v flag) and take a snapshot or tell us where it hangs? Thanks. Telling us that it won't boot past the Apple logo won't help. We need to know where it hangs.

Thank you for your rapid reply. I'm not actually at the computer right now, but I will do as you instructed as soon as I get back to it and post up the screen shot. Thank you again.

here's where the process halts when booting in verbose mode. hope this helps narrow down the issue.

What Graphics card you using? hd4600 or a dedicated GPU?

if your using a GTX 760 then you will need to set GraphicsEnabler=No you don't need to inject your graphics with newer cards i have the 760 and i set my GraphicsEnabler=No so boot with GraphicsEnabler=No and -v then it should boot into OSX if it doesn't then it could be some BIOS settings also you don't need NullCPUPowermanagement either so just tick with DSDT Free and then your sound kexts also Trim if your using a SSD then FakeSMC Plugins install reboot and see if that fixes your problems
