"The selected boot device failed"

Did complete reinstall and I can't get past AGPM controller unknown platform, but I haven't completely run through all the steps...

The bootloader has been fixed, when everything will be done, I'll report back.

Added Cstates and Pstates and DropSSDT, boot normally. I am now hoping that my CMOS won't reset, as it has done before, nontheless I had added the CMOS reset fix.

Thanks for all the help. I'll report back if it was successfull and hasn't reset, again...

And my Ethernet is not working, should I add the kext to the /extra/extensions to get it working? And shall my Mac Store work then?

edit: it worked once, but it ain't working anymore...

It looks like a graphics issue. You need to set ig-platform-id:

IGPEnabler=Y GraphicsEnabler=N IGPlatformID=01660003 dart=0 -f UseKernelCache=N

As far as Ethernet, first determine what Ethernet you have with DPCIManager->PCI List. Install an appropriate driver. System kexts should be installed to /S/L/E.

I've used the IGPlatform flags, already but not the KernelCache flag, will try and report back.

Nope, not a change...

I do have seen "This is a unknown CPU model", but I have done the Power Management procedure.

Edit: will add full bootsequence, so that you can see all errors fired.

PS: sorry for the bad quality, was filmed with my iPad and it's uploading so if it isn't accessable yet, wait a minute.

Edit: Fixed ethernet.

Edit: Fixed it completely. Will let it spin for a day and report back.

So everything was working great, until I updated to 1.9.2 and I'm stuck again at [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!

Booting with "-F IGPlatformID=01660003 IGPEnabler=Y GraphicsEnabler=N -f -v", same error.

I've created a new SMBIOS with Champlist, and that fixed it!

I've got everthing working (Ethernet, Sound, Battery). Only brightness isn't working, but I don't really care, unless it's an easy fix.

Thanks again for all the help. I think everything will keep running now!

This is why I always have people implement power management first: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...nagement-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-laptops.html

For HD4000 brightness:
https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch
Apply: "GFX0 to IGPU", then "Brightness Fix (HD3000/HD4000)"
install: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Backlight

That will probably provide a working slider in SysPrefs->Displays. If not post, ioreg.
