If you run the installer and select a BIOS versions it installs it.

i've been booting into lion when i need wifi,,

how come lion need the extra kexts to get it working and SL doesn't ?

If anyone is interested it's possible to get this card working in Lion but only in 32bit mode.
Old 32bit drivers PCI/mPCI/CB(RT2860/RT2790/RT309x) are available here

Lion does not have any extra kexts then SL. In terms of wifi.

no but mine does after i loaded the Atheros AR5B195 pack from page 1 ,,,

just doen a clean install of lion just used pak 3.10 and took out 4 gig of ram leaving 4 and it's running loads better ..


tried that railink with my old wifi card in SL but couldn't get it working

looking back think the's a bit of confusion, I've been trying to get my Atheros AR5B195 to work in SL, which my original question was is it possible to get the Atheros AR5B195 pak or kest from the first post to work in SL ?
