I ran through the patches again. I even removed the originals from the ACPI folder.

I'm starting to think someone elses patched files will be the only option

Download patchmatic: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-MaciASL-patchmatic.
Extract the 'patchmatic' binary from the ZIP. Copy it to /usr/bin, such that you have the binary at /usr/bin/patchmatic.

In terminal,

rm -Rf ~/Downloads/RehabMan
mkdir ~/Downloads/RehabMan
cd ~/Downloads/RehabMan
patchmatic -extract

Post contents of Downloads/RehabMan directory (as ZIP).

Also, post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Your files are not patched as described in the guide (post #20).

I'm trying to patch SSDT-11 I can patch the 'Rename GFX0 to IGPU' but when I try to patch 'Haswell HD4400/HD4600/HD5000' the apply button is greyed out with no changes the same goes to 'Brighness fix (Haswell)'

No problem here.

When I use Patchomatic, I only get an extract for SSDT upto 12.

I took another dump from the Clover Bootloader Menu - I ran the Patches again. on SSDT9 it turns out I was using the wrong patch initially. Before I used [igpu] Haswell HD4400/HD4600/HD5000 but it looks like I needed to use 'Insert Intel HD4600 GPU' well the patches all compiled correctly only with warnings. I moved only the *.aml files to the ACPI/Patched folder of the Bootdrive. Rebooted, still no brightness slider or any other changes unfortunately. Not sure if the files are correct and there not being loaded but heres my files:

Patchmatic will only dump the files that are loaded....

Looks like all SSDTs are loaded now. Far as I can tell, It looks like the patches have been applied also.

so maybe its the Backlight Kext that isn't being loaded?
