GA-Z77X-UD5H audio green-port problem solved by welding 2 resistances

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H rev. 1.1:
- Audio chip Realtek ALC898
- LAN1 Atheros 8161(Atheros 8151 for rev. 1.0 of this motherboard)
- LAN2 Intel 82579v
At first sight, the major change for rev. 1.1 is Atheros LAN controller, changed from 8151 in 8161. My Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H rev. 1.1 is still in the box

No way! It is because I am Romanian. It's complicated for me to buy from Newegg.

From there(eMAG) I purchase my HP Probook 4530s, too. I'm so proud of my first hackintosh.

Just got my rev 1.1 board and the back panel green audio output works. Have not try the digital output yet.

I'd also like to try this, but can't find the route map anywhere. Could you do a quick PM if possible?

Or could somebody else who is a bit comfortable in this stuff look at the differences between the routing on the 1.1 and the 1.0 board? Or shoot a few HD pics. That'll help get me started to fiddle around (safely ofcourse)

And based on those pictures I will then have (I have the 1.0 rev. board) I can create a new route map for me and others :cough:

I also have Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H rev. 1.1 and I can confirm the green port works. The orange and black ports don't though, if I remember correctly.

I've been trying to think of ways to get it to work with my A/V receiver, but so far, I'm stumped.
