If you have everything done with auto-patch, 10.10.1 update can happen via App Store just like a real Mac.

You can use Time Machine for backups.

One of the easiest OS X upgrades ever. what took me so long to go to clover

having trouble enabling trim with clover.

I have this patch in conf.plist

Note: "disabled_IOAHCIBlockStorage"... I put this in my config.plist files such that the patch is not enabled, but is easily changed if you want it. Remove the 'disabled_' so it reads 'IOAHCIBlockStorage'.

haha thanks
yes, I was using a config.plist from your repository from the clover guide.

there were two others that were disabled (the boot screen garble ones), and the garbles wasn't that bad without it.

now I can't boot up

I booted to windows to fix the time sync.
rebooted to OSx and it seemed fine
booted to bios to fix time in bios
reboot to osx and I get
BUG in process suhelperd[xxx]: over-released legacy external boost assertions (1 total, 1 external, 0 legacy-external)

for like a minute or two. then it goes to a black screen and I see the mouse pointer. touchpad doesn't work but touchscreen does (to move the mouse)

xxx changes also. different number sometimes

I can't log into recovery partition either.
I can log into windows.

anyone see this before and know a fix?

seems to happen after applehda, around en0/en1 - too fast can't see.

weirdest thing. after multiple attempts to log into to OS X. main partition, recovery partition, safe mode, without cache, boot from usb... many different combinations....

so I decided to boot windows again and shutdown.

reboot to osx and voila. it boots up.

which Elan trackpad version? using ver 4 & 3 not working on my laptop.

now using voodooPS2 only as a mouse.
can u uploud your DSDT? thanks
