Hi iPerry,

thanks for the hard work. I am looking forward for your guide. :) This laptop is to good to be left unhackintoshed. I will try around with both methods and give a review about my impressions. Any of you guys know how to enlage hfs+ partitions in MBR ?

Thats the good thing with my method, make the drive any size you want..
 
everything that works in the russian method is good yes,
but there were some files i've never seen before and get me worried.
donno but i thing there may be something fishy with it.

thats why i made this and well i'm stubborn and had to get it done since i
couldn't do it for like 6 months!

i just want to know if i should post my method or post a restore file for people to just load.
 
well the big thing for me was the remote disk under disks in finder side menu
and the fact that you can not delete it
 
that sucks..
yeah that why im doing it my way so i no whats what.

and i donno y but they reviewed the last post i wanted to post and they never posted it

and also trying to get the backlite keyboard to work i crashed mine haha
 
so i won't be posting the guide for a week at least,
alot more kinks then i thought.
computer was working great and now can get it to boot so..

it was for the people whom didn't know about it..
i noticed a few people looking to resize the partition.
but thanks for your tip.
 
i'm gonna try tonight, first have to see what new things it brings, sure its not much. if its not worth it i'll pass

and just wait for 10.9
 
i had a get build, facetime and Photo Booth working without aid,
NV650M was showing along with Intel4000.
not sure if graphics were still 100% proper but graphicsenabler was yes.
when i tried to build the custom installer with my configs it just wont work again
haha donno if i copied over kexts i used or what but oh well.

so yeah back with the ASUS_N version but i've gone threw it top to bottom twice
removed anything i didn't like the look of and or didnt need and yeah it works great got
alot faster!

the irony of it all is im running Win7 with parallels 8 haha
love the coherence feature and still use some win apps so..

and i got wifi so its great!!
(new wifi card)
