I've no problem booting, everything except the card works for me. So you're running with the card with no extra kexts? Any bootflags etc? Is everything working fine?

Initially i wasn't able to boot Yosemite. What i did was reduce my 8GB RAM to 4GB and i removed my GPU too.

I then booted Yosemite on to my system. First time round the boot worked perfectly but on the restart when I wanted to load my drivers i had to boot up using -no-zp.

After installing my drivers and bootloader i was able to boot without any bootflags. Lastly i Installed my GPU and the other 4GB RAM and my system accepted it. I now have my GPU showing when i click about this Mac from the top toolbar on the Mac Desktop

That is really odd. The card is recognised, the kexts are loaded, but it just doesn't work. I get artefacts and that's if the system even boots with the card as the main graphics device.

Can you post a similar screenshot? do you have any more information displayed?

And lastly, did the card work out of the box or did you have to do something after logging in with it?
