I don't think there are any HDMI audio issues with native (OS X bundled) Nvidia drivers in 10.10.2.
HDMI Audio issues started from:
- Nvidia Web drivers 343.02.02f02+ (not in scope of this thread)

Probably because of your Mac Pro SMBIOS profile. Try changing it to iMac.
It appears that Pavo from the other board managed to generate a valid MLB & ROM, presumably via 'Blank Board Serializer' tool. He is in the process of creating a script to automate that, we'll see.

If there is no motherboard header, you need an adapter such as this:

The Motherboard's USB header has two sets of pins each; try the other set.

Try resetting your network settings in Yosemite by deleting Network Preferences plist.
