Here's the drivers I used that got BT and wifi working in win 8.1 x64

Wish I knew about the build it yourself option. Would have saved $30

do you have the Win7-64bit by any chance? TIA

I purchased the BCM94360CD adapter and the PCIe to 1.x adapter from ebay, as well, trying to get it to work in my 2007 MacPro (2,1) running Yosemite.

After installing the card in my system, the WiFi card was immediately recognized and is fully functional on the first boot; however, the Bluetooth is not recognized and doesn't show up in the System Report at all.

The adapter has a 2-pin USB connector and a cable that several of you mentioned having connected to your PC motherboard to get this to work in a hackintosh, but I am trying to figure out if there is somewhere to connect this on the MacPro motherboard. Not finding any open pins or anything that might work.

Appreciate any suggestions!

If there is no motherboard header, you need an adapter such as this:

For those with a h87n-wifi motherboard and with the only pci-e slot used for a graphic card, this adapter can be used. It allows you to transform a half size mini pic-e slot to a full size mini pic-e slot.
If I could hug you, I totally would pay someone to do it form me....but thanks for this.:headbang:

Hello all,

I have a question. I have the exact same PCIe adapter and BCM94360CD cards from ebay seller. AC WiFi works fantastically. Bluetooth, not so much. Has anyone else had issues with Bluetooth not working? I plugged up the USB power adapter to my motherboard, made sure all the connections from adapter to card were good, made sure antennas were all tightly connected and nothing helps. It shows up under System Information and I can turn on the Bluetooth and find my iPhone but it will not connect (well it connects then disconnects the next second). This is a continuous problem. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi Kris404,

Thank you very much for the link to adapter cable. It'd be exactly what I need.
Still I have one doubt. The description on eBay says, it's a power cable, so I expect that it's connected to 5V and GND.
But the cable shipped with my PCI-E card connects to D+ and D-.

So is it for sure the right cable? Just want to double-check to make sure that I don't destroy my card.

Thanks!

Hi guys.

I have a iMac 2011 (mid) which I am trying to upgrade to support Continuity/airdrop/handoff.

I've bought the Broadcom BCM94360CD wifi/BT4.0 card and adapter for it (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yqlav4wzybb7gim/AAA-PII3WxDlPFDxZ0BDF4YRa?dl=0)

I'm a little confused about it:

I've installed the card and moved the 3 antenna cables from the original airport-card to the new one. The new card has 4 connections - the original airport has 3 connections - What am I supposed to do with the unused connector on the new card? You mentioned something about a USB cable?

At the moment wifi and bluetooth works fine, BUT it seems like Yosemite is using the old bluetooth card (in the lover right corner of the case) and the "Continuity activation tools" tells me that Bluetooth 4.0 isn't supported. Well - I then removed the old bluetooth card... The result was that Yosemite couldn't find any bluetooth hardware at all.

So I'm a little confused about what to do now - I've been googling for several days now until I found this thread. I really hope you can help me :)

Thanks :)

Michael

Hey guys, I bought this card and it's not working :( Bluetooth is OK, but there's no Wi-Fi.

I learned from here
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...ard-going-new-macbook-air-owner-wanted/page-3

That when the card doesn't have Bluetooth powered from USB port (4-pin connection instead of a 2-pin D+/D-)- then it
won't work on many motherboards - mine is GA-Z77X-UP5-TH.

Is it true? Do you have any workarounds for this? Does anybody experience the same issue? Or is it a lottery with noname Chinese hardware hackers??

Has anyone been able to get Wake on Wifi access to work with this card? It doesn't appear to be supported (i.e. there's a checkbox in the Power preferences pane to enable "Wake on Ethernet access" but not on Wifi.
