EliteBook 840 G1: Lost sleep after installing BCM4352

Yosemite clean install in HP EB 840 G1 without BCM4352 using HP ProBook Installer Clover Edition 6.2.14.2: sleep working OK.

Install BCM4352 + update HP ProBook Installer Clover Edition 6.2.15.3.1 + Broadcom bluetooth fix option + rebuild caches + repair permissions: everything ok except sleep.
Sleep not working = system try to sleep but it wakes up automatically just after sleep.

I attach EFI folder.
H/W: 840 G1, 8Gb RAM, SATA SSD Intel, M.2 TS256GMTS400, HD4400LowRes.
S/W: W7 SSD (business image), Yosemite in M.2

Could you please help?

Which bluetooth firmware uploader are you using?

You could try patching DSDT for USB3 (XHCI). See patches/usb.txt from here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Lenovo-U430-Touch-DSDT-Patch
 
BrcmPatchRAM.kext in S/L/E + modifications in config.plist to enable Airport, 5 Ghz and Handoff
no bcm4352.kext or BTFirmwareUploader.kext in S/L/E

missing info that I forgot to mention, enabling "fast boot" in BIOS = disable BT = sleep works again, so practically sure that BT is the problem...

I will check you URL, thanks, meanwhile another ideas?

Try the DSDT patch. You'll need to do a few manual edits after (the patch is designed for my u430).

Note: You can use FakePCIID.kext instead of the AirPort/5Ghz patches.

AirportExtreme can be injected by FakePCIID or a normal Wifi Injector.

But 5Ghz cannot be injected, at least in the last times I tried with FakePCIID.

on my probook 440 g1 (dual boot w10 + yosmite in same ssd) , if i disable fast boot = BT not found (BCM4352)

It is working for me.

Only problem is that BrcmPatchRAM causes an annoying delay (10 to 15 sec) with USB mouse on wake from sleep. I'm working on fixing it.

It does not work for me. Here is what I did:
- Remove ProbookARPT.kext
- Patch DSDT to inject 4360 id to ARPT
- Install 2 FakePCIID kexts.

After restart:
- Wifi works
- Wifi is identified as AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x2123)
- Missing 5Ghz channels:
Supported Channels: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
 
Not necessary. There are no DSDT patches needed.

Removed _DSM from ARPT, restart, wifi works, but still no 5Ghz channels:
Supported Channels: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14


It works with the 5Ghz kext patch though.
