Are there any known issues with Flash and Yosemite on HP Laptops? Whenever I try to run flash video (youtube, etc) from any browser, chrome, safari, firefox, the video will play for six seconds then freeze. This was my main reason for reinstalling OSX as I reported a few post previous.

Is this user error, flash error, or a problem with the HD4400? I can't seem to find any resolution.

I noticed airplay mirroring (or airplay screen sharing) doesn't seem to work with the HD4400 either. As you know these items better than me, you can tell me for sure, but based on my searches, It seems like it's a 4400 issue that isn't going to be solved.

You are totally right. I kept getting errors running iasl out of the same directory as the .aml files,

Read carefully. The only AML files that you should have in the directory are the DSDT and SSDTs.

Did you apply the OpenCL dylib patch?

I ran this before on my old version of Yosemite before my restore on Christmas day. Thank you for the reminder. It seems that my flash issues are fixed.

Airplay mirroring via appleTV seems to still be a no go. HDMI video out works though. I should test HDMI audio out.

HDMI audio out works along with HDMI video out. RGB (DB-15) video works. Internal speakers only work when HDMI is plugged in and you manually go to system settings and select internal speakers. Removing the HDMI cable made the internal computer speaker stop working at all.

I am still working on applying the patch for the DSDT for battery. Where do I place this patched file, as I have numerous SSDT files that go from *-1 to *-6 and *-3x to *-6x.

Try the latest PBI CE, it should fix your battery.

Newest PBI from 12 hours ago fixes battery. I also have native sound from computer speakers. Amazing!

Thank you ! And the typo error is fixed in the PBI as well.

Can I get the Azurewave branded 4352HMB or does it have to be the HP branded one. I did read an old post about it, but it was from a year ago.

It depends on whether your laptop has a BIOS WiFi whitelist or not... Install a different card and you'll find out.

One of you should run the debug version of VoodooPS2Controller to see if you can figure out why the input is being detected as accidental (all input is logged to system.log).

Well. Just about everything is finally working. Audio, battery, etc.

I think airplay mirroring with my hd4400 isn't going to work. I've searched the forums, and this seems to be the consensus. I am hoping for confirmation.

The only question (after that above) left is why the mouse is being detected as accidental. I know that this mouse (trackpad) is kind of iffy (read: garbage / not great). It doesn't work well on the windows side, and the manufacture has pushed 3 soft/firm ware updates since thanksgiving (2014). Multitouch and scrolling (again, on the windows side) is totally hit or miss.

On the mac side, I'd like to see what we can do to determine why we have to uncheck the box ignore accidental input. Does this involve installing Voodoo from above and dumping the logs?

AirPlay mirroring to my AppleTV from my Lenovo u430 (HD4400) works fine.

The debug version dumps information about the trackpad packets as they are received. It would help if you're a little familiar with C++ (to try changes to the code), and the Synaptics packet format (the spec is linked from the README): https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller
