Nvidia 550Ti Sleep / Wake / Freeze Thread

Hello all. EVGA GTX550ti and same exact problem. The monitor does not wake up after sleep. Sorry to say, but I am happy I am not the only one with this problem.

I have a GTX 550ti. So far the only problem I've had (graphics wise) is after the display sleeps. After the display sleeps the log in screen is all messed up. Looks really glitchy.

Compilation of Problems

Here's the problems I have with my 550ti (0x10de1244):
-Bluescreens on resolution change
-Unable to wake from sleep
-Artifacts after wake from screensaver or display sleep
-Sometimes unable to exit iTunes fullscreen
-3d artifacts blinking (esp. in Minecraft, never had the problem in Lion)
-Need to inject AGPM in order to fix lag

I'm going to try transplanting the Lion NVDAGF100HAL.kext, NVDAResman.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext, NVSMU.kext into ML, see if there is any improvements. I don't have a Lion install on hand, so can somebody attach those? Also, can other people try too?
In case you're scared of kext transplants, note that your audio is probably working because of a kext transplant.

It worked OOB for me, but I used a EFI String injection to get the correct VRAM to be identified and modified AGPM to fix lag.

My Problems

figured I'd share my problems with this card, maybe someone could shine some light on this?

Giga x58a ud3r rev 2 bios.fe
EVGA GTX550ti
i7 960
ram 24GB
hard drives 4TB

I installed ML with no video problems whatsoever, looked great, I was happy I didn't need to run GE=No and -x like I did with my last card.
Booted ML through the USB and everything looked great, no hiccups, just perfect.
Ran Multibeast DSDT, System Utilities, and network
restarted w/o usb in kernel panic at "DSMOS has arrived"
Found this
every bootloader fails to boot after install - Page 4
Followed the terminal edits and booted into ML ok. I do not have control over my resolution so I control it using Chameleon Wizard.
Graphics Enabler is on but I still get choppy animations upon opening message center.

Anyone know why my card doesn't run nicely from the beginning? Shouldn't it?

I haven't tried installing the combo openCL enabler yet.

Any help would be awesome :)

This is from my Lion install, let me know what they do for you.

EDIT: Nevermind lol, you got to it before I did Vemacs

Here they are (too large to attach here). I got them from BaseSystem.dmg from the Lion Installer. Install with kext utility. I'll let you know if my hack works or not. Feel free to try too.
Lion Graphics - Minus
There are LionGFX and LionNVDA, they are the AppleGraphics* and NVDA* from Lion, respectively.
AGPM needs to be repatched probably, and I'm not sure if installing AGC is that great of an idea.

EDIT: Installing all of them except AGC broke my ML system, I got it fixed by copying the /s/l/e from the installer to my HDD's /s/l/e
Maybe I should install AGC.

Here are the issues:

When the computer sleeps, either manually or automatically, it does not wake properly from sleep. I will get a functional mouse cursor over either a screen of garbage or a black screen. The mouse is not frozen, but I have no system functionality. Console.log is full of Nvidia "exceptions!" and other NVDA errors.

I have the same problem.....everything else is working fine except the sleep/wake problem. I'm still looking for the solution.....

Same here, Gainward GTX 550 Ti
No wake from sleep,
sleep wont even enabled right. Fans keep spinning and stuff.
Changing Resolution ends in Blue Screen.
i dont wanna use old kext and hope netkas can provide some solutions

EVGA GTX 550 Ti + GA-Z77+D3H (i7-3770) [ivy]

=> Doesn't wake after sleep.
=> Card reported as 1.5GB (but has only 1GB) => a cosmetic thing
=> Power Management of the card seems only to know (Low / High settings), so after the system stands a longer time, Mission Control effects are a bit stottering the first 1-2 seconds.
=> No other issues detected, yet

But i didn't played around with any kexts, yet. Will try it this evening.
Think, it's moslty an AppleGPUPowerManagement fix for wake/sleep and low/high

The sleep/wake problem is a bit crappy, cauz even with ssd my system needs 5-6 seconds to boot.
