Nvidia 550Ti Sleep / Wake / Freeze Thread

Same symptom here, mobo: GA-Z68X-UD3H (UEFI U1H) with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Everything was okay in Lion 10.7.4
 
Havent tried different system didefinitions yet but i have manage to stop the screensaver one by not making screens sleep and just having a screensaver
 
I've switched back to HD4000 for now. 550Ti has too many problems to be usable, especially when HD4000 doesn't have the same problems.
 
I have tried 3,1 ; 11,1 and 12,1 without any changes.

cpu i5 2400
mobo H67M-D2-B3 rev 1.0

boot using pcirootuid=0 and GE=no , GE=yes boot , spin wheel then black screen :(

Use GrapihcsEnabler=yes
 
Using Graphics Enabler=yes or =no makes no difference with this issue.

Edit: Sorry, I see now that you were referencing his boot issue. Please, folks, keep issues in this thread limited to sleep / wake / "Fermi Freeze"-like hang issues. Boot issues should be discussed in a separate thread.
 
Same problem with my GTS 450.
 
GTX 550 Ti Same

After struggling with a ASUS HD 6670 I had read that the GTX 5xxx good to go OOB

So off I went and bought one and yes installing was nice so I admired away until Black screen awakening from sleep

Of course my acknowledgement of the problem is not a fix, sorry...

Works fine with my dual boot of Lion 10.7.4
