This discussion has me optimistic about the possibility of running Mac OS on my new Spectre x360 laptop. Based on this[1] Intel page, it looks like their 7265 wireless chip is not supposed to function in OS X, so in all likelihood, I'd need to replace that, but it seems like most of the rest of this laptop should be supported.
I took a stab at choosing a config.plist, but none of them have the HD 5500 graphics chipset in the name. That didn't work out so well, as you can see where my boot froze (early) below. (In fact, it even took out the syslinux bootloader for my Arch Linux; I had to reinstall it.)
Just curious if anyone has anything to share regarding hackintoshing this laptop. I'm happy to experiment and do the trial & error thing if anyone has any suggestions. I spent many hours with my old gaming tower before I conquered that sucker.(!)
Much thanks for any tips !!
