Hi everyone, I have a lenovo Z580, Intel Core i5 3210m with Yosemite 10.10 Installed. Everything is working. Ethernet, wifi, graphics, trackpad, usb ports... etc.
My problem is that whenever I try to login to my Facetime/iMessage, it logs me in for about 3 seconds, before saying "Your Apple ID 'jackanyon****@gmail.com' can't be used to set up iMessage at this time." Obviously "jackanyon****@gmail.com" doesn't show that, its my apple ID email address - just withholding it here.
I use Clover as my bootloader, only because I couldn't get my system to boot with FileNVRAM.dylib when using Chameleon.
I have made a new Apple ID, verified the email address and added my bank details. I also have a generic serial number (confirmed through Apple Warranty Page).
My ethernet is at en0 and my wifi is at en1. I have deleted various plists many times from my HD, with no success.
I have always had a problem since 10.8.5. When I was on 10.8.2, it worked flawlessly.
One thing I did read, is that Clover generates its own NVRam file, I cannot confirm wether this has happened with mine.
The system was installed with a UniBeast 10.10 installer. It then had Chameleon installed, shortly after that was replaced by Clover.
Could anyone give me a nudge in the right direction. Apologies for the long post.
Kind regards, Jack
