a little confuse, if i use find/repl approach, does need I patch .kext?? BTW: Pike's blog is really hard to understand. Keen on your guide.

If you use Clover config.plist based patches, you do not have to patch the actual file on disk. This works well for updates, for as long as the patch works with the new kext, updates require no post-install tasks.
 
Report current status:

1. HD4600 works well
2. WIFI doesn't work
3. Bluetooth doesn't work
4. Can't mount EFI partition
5. Still not test VoodooHDA
6. PM doesn't work

fixed almost all aspects except VoodooHDA via reinstallation. Don't know why VoodooHDA doesn't work on yosemite.

BTW: all above odd behavior is led by Kext Utility( the tools seems modify system kexts automatically ), i hate it and drop it to rubbish!

I use Kext Wizard.
 
Do you have solution for VoodooHDA?? You known, I can't find patched AppleHDA for my t440p, i have to use VoodooHDA. Currently, it seems unsupported Yosemite.

You might check to see if there is a new VoodooHDA available. Or just try building from sources using the latest SDK.
 
Fixed VoodooHDA!!

add boot arg kext-dev-mode=1

until now. my T440p almost perfect!! three minor issue:

1. after booted, screen brightness is dark, have to make it lighter manually.
2. the boot screen is mess for about 1~3s, then it will be ok.
3. one of usb port doesn't work well. plug usb is ok, if plug a portable disk, it doesn't work. it seems voltage abnormal.
