Hi,

The Yosemite download is complete-I've been advised to save it to external disk for safe keeping - I've just tried to copy the file to save to external USB but the computer wasn't allowing this - Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Compress as ZIP. Copy somewhere.

Right now OS X Yosemite wants to be installed but I need to do the uni beast install for which I have instructions for

Unibeast or Clover methods. Your choice. I would choose Clover.

The Yosemite machine will be a desktop - The laptop support for UniBeast seems to offer more than legacy USB support - Is this correct? - It may be better to select the option "laptop" support?

Is your computer a laptop?

No my Hack computer isn't a laptop - I went with legacy USB and I didn't copy the download of Yosemite before installing it.

A laptop has been used for accessing the forum and downloading files to assist in this process

There is now the USB installer-Nice graphics!

There are going to be more challenges to get the drivers [DSDT's] for audio - internet [Intel LAN controller?] -

A big question-Will I be able to boot the computer without the USB bootloader?

Well I never - Unbelievable - Intel Network Controller is enabled & booted & the internet works straight away -

The screen aspect looks different now - Guess I'll need to learn how to patch DSDT's - After all this I'm sure that can be achieved with a little or alot of help:D

Catch you later

I think I got a little ahead of myself - I've not finished the tutorial yet

Where are you with the install. Sounds like you have installed and reached the Desktop.

I'm doing OK with the install - I've reached the desktop - I tried to install Multi-Beast - Made an error by installing wrong version - Without realising Snow Leopard Multi-Beast was attempted which failed - Then I realised immediately and downloaded the correct version [&archived] only to be greeted by a "bug" - I'm glad as it caused a panic [sort of] but after Google search found the link below

I've saved the "text" to type in on Windows computer [accessory to install!] and Yosemite is taking ages to load - I'm grateful it is a bug and not something more serious

Is there a way to eliminate this [the error made with Multi-Beast SL? - It didn't install Multi Beast but maybe some files need removing

When Yosemite comes on I'll be installing the correct verison of Multi-Beast - Thats where I'm upto

Also made a mistake [not saving] the OS X download - Maybe this could be downloaded again??? - On home internet [not mobile] unlimited-flexibility-sort of - and saved / removed after download - Instructions please - Thanks
