I can't boot into my Unibeast 5.0.0 created yosemite installer for performing clean install.

I am currently running 10.9.2 on my hackintosh with below specs:

Intel DZ87KLT-75K, ATX, Intel Z87 Express Motherboard
Intel i7-4770K
nvidia geforce GT 640 OC

OS X 10.9.2 runs without any issues for past 3 months.

Now I created bootable USB-stick for installing Yosemite.

1. download yosemite from app store
2. formatted my 8GB Kingston using GUID Partition Table and Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
3. ran Unibeast installer with default options (no laptop or legacy options)
4. after 20mins or so, Unibeast said the installer USB was successfully created
5. I reboot pressing F-10 and selecting Kingston USB
6. I can see my different drives (including Yosemite installer USB) in chameleon

I tried running first without bootflags and then with the following (producing same result):

-x
-v
-x -v

last messages from verbose output were:

....
Starting Darwin x86_64
Boot Args: kext-dev-mode=1 -x -v

then it simply reboots. can someone give me some ideas on what to try out next? Maybe some hardware / BIOS settings or different boot flags? Do you need any more information on my hardware setup? Let me know!

I am eternally grateful for any suggestions and really excited to get this going :)

thanks in advance!

EDIT: Added my graphics card

i kinda have the same issue as you. cant seem to start the installer, just get a blank screen, and no one seems to know whats happening.

i do have one question for you know......when you go to choose your usb does it have the "yosemite" logo or just a apple one?

I can see the yosemite "mountain icon" in unibeast boot selection screen. but after this, it will show the apple logo for 1 second, then reboot (regardless of bootflags).

I even tried unplugging my GeForce GT 640 and installing using my integrated gpu (intel i7 4770K / HD 4600) with same results (crashes a few seconds after selecting installer USB from unibeast screen and reboots).

I hope someone can recommend any strategies or things to try. If you need more information from my specs just let me know, I'd be glad to provide them.

thanks a lot in advance!

I don't even get the mountin logo, just a apple logo so I don't have the foggiest what's going on with mine

doncroce, what happens when you boot with -f -v added to your boot arguments?

what do you mean with "your boot arguments"?

I'll try it now with the following:

-x -v -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes
-x -v -f GraphicsEnabler=No
-x -v -f PCIRootUID=0
-x -v -f PCIRootUID=1

and will report back in a couple of minutes. do you have any other boot flags to try? thanks a lot in advance!

That's just what I meant :)

I tried:
-x -v -f
-f -v
-x -v -f GraphicsEnabler=No
-x -v -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes
-x -v -f PCIRootUID=0
-x -v -f PCIRootUID=1

with no success (same result)
