[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Z87-HD3, 4770k, GTX 760
First of all, here is my brief spec:
i7 4770k, running at 4.0Ghz
Gigabyte Z87-HD3 (bios version: F8)
Corsair DDR3 1600MHz 32G
EVGA GTX 760
Sandisk Ultra Plus 128G + WD Red 2TB HDD
USB dongle (Broadcom-chip)
Working:
USB 3.0
QE/CI
Bluetooth with Apple Wireless keyboard and touchpad
onboard Sound
The installation is much easier than Mavericks. Here is the steps:
1. Download Yosemite from App store
2. Download Unibeast 5.0.0 and Multibeast 7.0.0
3. Create bootable USB drive by Unibeast and copy Multibeast 7.0.0 to USB drive as well
4. Reboot and select to boot from USB drive
5. The installer should run smoothly
6. At the end of installation, you'll have to reboot again. Remember to reboot via USB drive again.
7. Once you reboot via USB drive, you should be able to boot into Yosemite without any issue. Then run Multibeast 7.0.0
8. Select "DSDT Free"
9.
"Drivers" tab -> Disk -> TRIM Enable -> 10.10.0 TRIM Patch
"Drivers" tab -> Network -> Realtek -> Realtek RTL81xx v0.0.90
Click "Build" -> "Install"
10. Reboot
11. Use https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC/blob/master/audio_realtekALC-100.command.zip to patch the native AppleHDA.kext
12. reboot
13 System Preferences/Sound/Output/select audio device
14. Enjoy full working Yosemite
