First Hackintosh Build this summer... not bought anything...

ok is it possible to do via an external DVD drive? I dont really want a DVD drive for this PC and if i do get one im not going to scrimp so ill blow 40-50 on a BluRay dual layer DVDR...

also where is the iboot software so that i can at least have a look at it...

You need a optical drive preferably SATA and not USB.

iBoot is located under Resources in the top right of the forum under Downloads.

Your new hardware configuration are much better than MacBook Pro 2009,
so install Lion for better compatibility for the foreseeable future.

Adding RAM to improve performance is more cost effective than purchasing an SSD.
