Updating Bios?

So ive been trying to get audio working for a while andive just realised the bios on my P55A-UD3P is like F2-3

anyway im wondering what the best way to update the bios is, considering i dont have a floppy drive.

i got the bios from http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=3241&ver=#anchor_os

should i try f10 or down to f8-9?

Use QFlash and don't forget to load optimized defaults and set everything back up after flashing.

I used QFlash to update the bios on my P55A-UD3P. I copied the bios onto a USB flash drive and updated from it. The bios should be named something like p55aud3p.f8, and NOT something like FLASHSPI.EXE, which is the file from which you must extract the bios. You can use keka to do this (you will probably have to change its settings as I believe it defaults to creating an archive rather than extracting from one).

I'm using F8 with OS X 10.6.2.
