Dell XPS 410/9200 pre-installation help

Noob here. Great site BTW.

Earlier today I purchased Snow Leopard. I plan on running it on my older dell XPS 410/9200.
I found a bit of information about my system (which is currently running windows 7).

*Using CPU-Z*
Intel core 2 duo @ 6300 @ 1.86Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 7300LE (My profile says integrated, but that's wrong)
ACPI x86-based PC

Mainboard
Model--0WG855
Chipset Intel--P965/G965 Rev--C1
Southbridge 82801HH (ICH8DH) Rev--B0

BIOS
Dell Inc. 2.5.3


Do I need to give more detailed information to know if it will work?

I am afraid of the BIOS settings as with a dell, some of the options aren't listed. I read that "RAID" actually enables "AHCI."

For those that have installed Snow Leopard on a DELL, can you please provide a little tutorial as to what you did in your BIOS.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I an curious to know if you are still runing OSX on yous XPS 410? O am attempting to install mavericks on my 410 but I can not do it. How did you get your sata drives to show up in the installer? What BIOS settings and extra kexts did you use?
