it is an awesome step by step tutorial on how to build this rig and install OSX

can you give me any feedback on the parts in the description (like half way down)

the only thing that isn't available is the CPU. it shouldn't be a problem to upgrade to a higher number right?

any suggestions on which i7 to go with keeping relatively close to the budget listed on the page ...

im also going to up the hard drive to 2TB and double the RAM to 8Gb,

any suggestions here?

THanks!

If you want to avoid a clicking sound every 20 minutes and the computer not being able to sleep, go with a Sony DVD Burner. Otherwise looks fine.

i7 870 cpu would be slightly better for very little difference in price
I have mine overclocked to 3.5ghz very easily some have these running up to 4.2ghz! for that Id suggest getting faster ram 1333 is ok what I use but i think the higher the number the better if you wanna overclclock at some point
