2 hard drives but can't boot into windows... Only SL

I have two sata drives. One with SL and one with XP. The SL drive is set as the primary and when chameleon turns on I can see the other hdd. When I select xp it goes to a black screen with a dash. If I set the xp drive as primary in the bios it boots into xp fine. I don't know what to do!

I figure this is due to XP wanting to be on the 1st booted drive, which it's not if you have SL disk booting 1st then select XP via Chameleon.

Least hassle method is to use BIOS F12 to select boot drive.

Can't remember if it's possible to edit the boot.ini's disk reference etc in XP to allow booing via Chameleon.

Alternate methods to avoid use of F12 are probably not worth the hassle anyway (eg: have XP as partition on SL drive, use Grub which can remap the drives etc), unless Asus BIOS does not support selection of "one time" boot drive via F12 etc on powerup.
