Hi everyone! I am buying a new hackintosh. I would like very much if you could give a quick look at the components, and tell me if they are easy to get up and running with MAC OSX

CPU: i5 - 3570k (Socket 1155)

Motherboard -
Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77-D3H Motherboard

Memory - Corsair CML8GX3M2A1600C9B LP Vengeance Memory 8GB 1600MHz

HD -
Western Digital WD1002FAEX Caviar Black 1 TB

SSD - Samsung 830 128GB

Thats it. Any thought you guys have, thanks!!!

Regards

Z77-D3H has unsupported audio. You need the Z77-DS3H.

Are there any disadvantages to this board? I notice it has less usb 3.0 and no optical output.

What are the alternatives? preferably no more than £100

Thanks

Echo

on the low price end:
GA-Z77-DS3H
GA-H77-DS3H
GA-B75M-D3P
GA-Q77M-D2H

Or you can look at the ASUS, MSI or Asrock boards that require a patched BIOS for native power management.

Another alternative is to drop back to a sandy bridge board and cpu.
