Hello, thank you for all the info on your site. I have done alot of searching but I can not find this error in particular. I did find a thread with a similiar problem possibly related to AHCI but I am sure that is properly enabled. I am using rboot and retail OSX 10.7.2. My hard is as follows.

ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813157271

Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K

MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814127565

I am positive I have AHCI MODE ON, and I do have an Option for ACPI HPET Table disable/enable and I have tired it with both ways to the same error.

I found this here but I did not understand the outcome:

Thanks for all the suggestions, etc.

I will come clean and admit... I wasn't following the install instructions correctly

After carefully re-reading the STEP 1: INSTALL MAC OS X page in you Boot CD Method
section I got it to install just fine...

A doh moment!

I have tired -x -v and Graphics off

Sorry I know its not correct syntax but I copied it from some other posts.

I updated my BIOS turned audio off. Tripled check AHCI not sure what I am doing wrong. There seems to be a lot of post close to mine but none with the same error. I will keep plugging away and let you know the outcome!

Well, rboot and that Lion DVD you have will not work.

You either need a friend/relative who has a mac/hack to use the App Store or you can purchase the SL DVD 10.6.3 or 10.6.x, install that, purchase and download Lion, create a Unibeast stick, either clean install Lion or upgrade your SL install to Lion.

I bought a copy of SL and then bought and downloaded a copy of Lion and its working great now other than the sound...

Your sound is a Realtek ALC892.
