I moved the topic to the right subforum. Leopard isn't supported, read the FAQmrdance01 said:hi all,
I start the pc with a iBoot-Disk.
i made a 8gb stick bootable and copy the original leopard dvd on it.
do i need a speceal command to start the setup in the iboot menu from the usb stick?
Of course it's possible. I do that many times. But you'll need a running Hackintosh or a real Mac to restore the SL Reatail DVD to a HFS+ Journaled formatted USB thumb. I don't know if it's possible to do that under windows, but i think there are also solutions for that.Gudd said:Could just be a typo and / or generalisation? He does say 10.6 in the title.
However, I believe that iBoot does not support installing from USB drive, it requires an original DVD in a SATA Optical drive. Maybe time to borrow or buy one.
