Edit:

*Success! Fully functioning OS X 10.8.1 ML / Windows 7 Build

Thanks for the tips! -- I have the same motherboard and followed your multibeast steps and I'm sure it saved me some time, but I've still got issues. I can't seem to get the system to reboot / shutdown -- it goes through the motions, and then just hangs. One time it seemed to go back into the login screen after a long while, but no reboot.

Also, when using the onboard HD4000 graphics the bootloader looks fine, but everything is scrambled when I get to the login screen. Unplugging the HDMI cable and plugging it back in fixes things, but it's annoying.

Haven't delved too deeply into network performance yet, or other potential problem areas, but i'll report back if I find anything.

On the graphics and rebooting issues, anyone have any suggestions?

THanks!

f.

For the record RE HD4000
