Must reapply your sound drivers after updating from 10.10.1 to 10.10.3
Sound Setting will not have your "Internal Speakers" option to be selected.

10.10.4 I reinstalled all drivers again from 10.10.1 jumping to 10.10.4
and must reapply your Configuration & Sound

4.6GHz

Bios version: 2004 2103 *update

changes from my last build http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...geforce-gtx-760-2gb-770-780ti.html#post761544 Maverick 10.0-10.1

Have a few friends that needed help so i made this for them.
Also for a way to restore from Time Machine/Migrate.

Step 1------------------>
-x Yosemite setup
Keep moving mouse while installing, to me, it kinda of frozen up, (mouse wouldn't move)

Step 2------------------>
Select Yosemite drive
Continue setup

How Do You Connect? Local network (Ethernet) -you should have configurations already if you are connected by LAN, if not shown, go back button then forward.

Transfer Information to This Mac: Don't transfer any information right now
(don't use you Time Machine or Migrate Over, bc your mouse won't move after rebooting but keyboard works) (go fig) (migrate later)

Va-La, you have sound and a working system with your 290(X) R9 Graphics Card, now you can pull out your USB Hackintosh chip out and you will be able to boot up without it.
Finished----------------^^

I don't know if the sound works throught HDMI but I imagine it would work, I'm on a screen with no HDMI slots.

Sleep option would sleep for 2 seconds and then it comes back on, move mouse & or click and the screen comes back on, know how to fix, I will update this & I'll give you credit here.

///////////////////////
I had a walk throu of Migration Assistant I made but i was on my iPod and accidentally erased it.

Only do this after Installing Yosemite.
In Migration Assistant I unchecked migrating Network & Settings
And I also unchecked the box of the 1st option of the two options for overwriting the user profile to not keep the profile, or keep both files, which is uneccesarly to have so have option 1 and under neath it has a box, uncheck that.

After you Migrate over from Mavericks you would have to fix your sound again bc the only 2 things I listed went back to default.

>Play sound effects through: Internal Speakers
>Output > Internal Speakers
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Va-La, you just complete migrating from Mavericks and have Sound Working. You will still be able to go back and boot your Mavericks Drive

Why did you go from DSDT-Free to EasyBeast? See page 3 of the MultiBeast Features document:
EasyBeast is for Core 2, Core i or Xeon systems with no native CPU Power Management.
The i7-4470K has native power management.
