I had a lot of trouble setting up my PS/2 keyboard. here was the terminal command that got the driver from the USB (which has to be copied manually) to the main partition:
Code:
cp -r /Volumes/(USB volume name)/System/Library/Extensions/'(nameofkext).kext' "/Volumes/(main partition name)/System/Library/Extensions/"
I used Pacifist to extract the ApplePS2Controller.kext and AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext from the MultiBeast program made by Tonymac, but you could easily run MultiBeast and install those drivers to the flash drive, there is an option in the program to do that.

For people who wish to dual boot their system - Virtualization doesn't work for me because the performance sucks, so I dual boot Windows 8.1 and Mavericks on the same hard drive. Really easy to do, just make sure you have the partition scheme the way you want it before installing, because it is a pain to change after. Do Mac side first. All you have to do is boot installer media for OS X, format drive with two partitions (Mac OS Extended Journaled and one MS-DOS (FAT), change to GUID partition table, install OS X, then install Windows. After installing Windows, if Chimera or another bootloader that was installed on the OS X partition will become inactive, replaced by the Windows bootloader. Boot from installation media again, and re-install Chimera or your bootloader of choice. All should work if you do this. I dual boot with 8.1 and OS X now, and I also added a future Linux partition, all you have to do is boot from one of the NTFS partitions (the right one, as only one contains the bootloader), and choose the Windows OS from there. If you have UEFI BIOS you have to boot from the non-UEFI disc drive option or installing Windows won't work.
Also make sure that in Windows you add a DWORD value in the registry (in run prompt, type regedit) at Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation with a value of 1. This will fix the time changing when switching operating systems.

I helped fatberns with his build, I can tell you that with my motherboard (see my build here) that getting integrated graphics to work is a pain in the a$$. I have a GTX 650 Ti Boost, and when I took it out to do troubleshooting, my hackintosh took 10 minutes to boot, and in the end I had to disable integrated graphics. Good luck to you to get integrated graphics working. Tonymac has a guide for 7-series GIGABYTE UEFI BIOS setup here, and it shouldn't be all the different.

As for dual booting, that's really easy. MAKE SURE that you install Mac first, because you need to format the partition scheme as GUID in Disk Utility. If you are using one drive, create two partitions, one Mac OS Extended Journaled, one MS-DOS FAT partition (name it windows for easier location of the partition in the Windows installer). Install Mac onto the Mac partition, then run the Windows installer on the windows partition. Windows WILL OVERWRITE the Chimera bootloader, so you will need to reinstall from your Mac partition and use the Unibeast flash drive to boot.

I have not had experience using multiple hard drives, but should be similar. However, you can format the Windows drive as an MBR Partition Scheme. I don't know if Chimera will show the drive, but going to the boot menu and selecting the Windows drive will definitely work.

There are lots of guides on multi-drive booting and single-drive booting online, so I would suggest a Google search that has instructions much clearer than mine. There are also videos on YouTube. The hackintosh community is quite vibrant, so Google searches of many issues will return satisfactory results. Good luck with your build, your motherboard is an easy one to Hackintosh! It took me months to have mine properly figured out.

Hey,

Thank you guys.
I will get all my stuff soon.
Will try to do this and repot back.
Thank you.

Hey,

What settings did you change in the bios?

thank you.

Hi, i'm configuring my hackintosh.
I want to buy the same graphics card (but gigabyte, not evga as you) and motherboard.
I need a stable system, because i want to work on logic pro, for my music.
Are you system stable?

thx a lot
