ok, so using bios F6 (bios it shipped with) I was able to set the following bios options and all worked fine, I was able to install, boot and run mojave 10.14.2

then I installed windows, windows worked fine.

I also updated the bios to the latest version, F12c. Mojave would not boot, it would stay on the apple logo screen and go very very slow.

I figured I would try a complete re-install, removed the windows drive, tried to boot to the installer, same result. very slow, even after a couple hours, still stuck on the apple logo screen, no errors or kernal panics.

I think it is related to the bios, but I am not sure what to try.

has anyone seen this?

Yes, downgrade your Bios to F11 and you will be ok.

sure enough, reverting back to bios F11 worked. I can now boot into my hack.

thanks!

word to the wise, at this point and time bios f12c is a definite no go!
