So I used to run chimera on my Ga-Z77X-UD5H build.
I had OSX installed on my SSD and Windows 8 on a HDD. However, when I switched to clover to fix the iMessege issue, I can't seem to boot from the windows partition. Nevertheless, when I boot from my Clover USB and then pick the windows HDD in the clover meny it suddenly works.

So.. I guess my question is: How do I fix this?

Must be a difference between your Clover config on the USB vs. Clover config on the HDD.

Compare them.

I thought Clover, just like Chimera, was just simply a boot loader? Do I need to config it on my HDD as well?

Both are bootloaders. Both have configuration files. With Clover (UEFI), the configuration is on your EFI partition in the EFI folder. With Chimera the configuration is in your /Extra folder on your system volume.

Clover has extensive configuration options in EFI/Clover/config.plist.
