I'm having a weird issue where windows won't show up in clover for me. I have windows on a separate SSD, but the only way for me to get to it is by overriding the BIOS boot drive priority. Just a few things I've noted and tried:

  • In clover my hidden volumes are only Preboot and Recovery.. Nothing related to windows 10's main installation
  • If I check "Legacy" under the scan section of clover configurator (see screen shot) I do get to additional entreis that say Windows on Legacy HD1 and Windows on Legacy HD2, but neither of those actually boot windows.
  • My windows installation doesn't have an EFI partition. (See second screen shot). Instead the boot manager is located in Windows/Boot/EFI/bootmgfw.efi
  • I've tried adding a custom entry in clover (See third screen shot). But the custom entry won't show in clover..
Any ideas where to go from here?

If your Windows drive has no EFI partition and there is no Microsoft folder in the EFI partition EFI folder on the Mac drive with Clover then the Win10 install is probably Legacy mode.
Boot wWin10, open a command window and type msinfo32, hit enter.
Post pis of resulting screen.

Oh Thanks for the Tip! It looks like it is, indeed in Legacy BIOS mode. Is there any way for me to change that wihtout reinstalling?

OK! I got it. Thanks for the tip! I used the built-in MBR2GPT tool to convert to a GPT UEFI installation. Clover automatically picked up the new partition and it works! Even boots a bit faster now, so that's nice
