Motherboard
ASUS Prime H270 plus
CPU
i7-7700
Graphics
GTX 1070
Mac
  1. MacBook Pro
Mobile Phone
  1. iOS
I upgraded my 2017 gaming rig in May of this year. So I would like to make a Hackintosh using as much as what I have left.
Proc i7 7700
MSI B250M Pro-VD LGA Motherboard
2 sticks PNY RAM DDR4-2400 8gb
I am going to replace HD with a 2TB Sata SSD arrives tomorrow from Amazon.decent case and fan setup.
1070 RTX video card.
I replaced the power supply, has 900watt gold in it now

My question is the Motherboard. LGA1151's are pretty cheap these days so I do not mind going to ebay for something different if it will be much easier than the MSI B250M to configure. Any recommendations for a LGA1151 MB for Hackintosh?

I like ASUS TUF motherboards, they are relatively straightforward when creating a Hack. I have a few including a Z270 board with an i7-7700K CPU. When it comes to creating a Hack the Z*70 boards are usually the best option, as they are the closest match to the chipset used in a real Mac.

As @Feartech pointed out, your Nvidia GPU is not going to work with anything newer than macOS High Sierra (10.13.6). So replacing your motherboard is the least of your worries. You also need to replace your graphics card with a compatible AMD dGPU, or just use the HD630 IGPU for macOS.
