On Mojave, my weather widgets have all stopped working. This is the original release of Mojave, no updates have been installed. Anyone else see this?

This article discusses the weather widget "missing" - my widgets are still there, they just don't update any more, and new onces created never "finish", so they never initially populate with temperature or forecasts. Oddly, even installing a different widget, like the Weather Underground one, still fails, as it too fails to work. I can't find anything that could be blocking access to the weather sites.. again, nothing really has changed as far as network access goes, so this is kind of a real stumper...

SOLVED - Boy, I have no idea what's up here but today the network just didn't seem as fast as it normally is so I rebooted the two routers I have runnning. That fixed the slowness, and somehow the weather widgets started working again... how weird is that?
