Vanilla on Acer 5750G

Hi, would it be possible to install vanilla kernel on my system or is it too early?

Specs:
Intel Core i7 2630QM
NVIDIA 540M + Intel HD Graphics 3000
4GB DDR3

I've had Lion running on an Acer 5750 (not g) before and pretty much everything worked.... The only thing I had problems with was screen artifacts... I did not like it so I installed Fedora 17 which is working awesome for me. There are guides for the 5750G out there... Just look around google. Oh and also I had to install a apple branded wifi card in mine to get wifi working... required a small modification to the case but was not hard to do.
