USB 3 for OSX now a reality! (here are the links)

I do not know if you all heard the news, but there is now a USB 3.0 solution for OSX. Barefeats has benchmarked the hardware (http://barefeats.com/wst10d.html).

The company that developed both the hardware and the drivers for OSX is CalDigit.

Here is their PCI exress card solution.

Here is some good news. The PCI express card is only $79.

Now, I wonder if their driver could be used to develop drivers for all of the motherboards that already have USB3?

This was already discussed. Their driver is hard coded to only work with their card.
 
Frak! Sorry for being redundant. I tried searching for it prior to the post, but I guess I was too tired to think straight. Would you please point me out to the appropriate thread?
