Hello tonymac community! First off I wanna thank everybody for all the help you've given to me, and gotten me to the point of having a KICK ASS hackintosh.

So now, I have a ASUS GTS 250 512mb. Its an ok card but I need to upgrade! Portal 2 coming out soon, and Crysis 2 is laggy as hell (all games I refer to are in windows 7)
I was looking at ATI cards, because the 5xxx and 6xxx cards are supported in OS X now (natively I belive)

The main card I am looking at is the Gigabyte 5770.

Im using the old school iBoot Supported, and I have OS X 10.6.7. All I have for video right now is NVEnabler, I think if I remove that and put my new card in It should work right?

Any help appreciated!

-Intel i5-760 @3.4ghz
-Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 (rev2)
-4GB DDR3 Ram
-1TB HD (OS X) 500GB (Windows 7)
-Asus nVidia GTS 250

It should be straight forward with few steps to be done.
1) Run multibeast and install bootloader Chameleon AI Experimental
2) Select Graphic Enabler = Yes
3) Remove NVEnabler kext

Shutdown, swap card and reboot.

At what resolution are you gaming? Because maybe the 5770 is just a bit too slow. It will run Crysis 2 but not with maxed out settings. Maybe you should have a look at the 5870, which has great compatibility and -still is- a fast gpu! At most times even faster than my 6870.
