Hi guys,

I've done a few searches and can't find any close to this problem, but hopefully i'm not the only one.

So i have a Samsung 700t1c, it has installed Mavericks 10.9.4 and it worked up until i brought the Broadcom BCM 4352 BCM94352HMB modem, i now can't get it started not even in safe mode.

I have attached the kernel panic but in short it is:
com.apple.driver.AirPortBrcm43224

I'm not sure what to do, i can only boot to get into the file system via a usb installer.

Would really appreciate some help.

Thank you

UPDATE:
I managed to fix this myself today with some stuffing about, but the short of it is, make sure to remove the old kext before using the new hardware!

Hello,

I have the exact same Tablet and the same Wifi Card.
What actually did you do to solve the problem?

What for old kexts you remove?

Hi, I have the same problem and I do not know why it happens. Does anyone know what he means by deleting the old ketxs?

Thanks.

UPDATE:

Installation

2. kextedit
1. Advantages: Simple edits
2. Disadvantages: Apply after each Software Update, Potential signing
issue
3. Backup S/L/E/IO80211Family.kext
4. Property List Editor/Open/S/L/E/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/Plugins/
AirPortBrcm4360.kext/Contents/Info.plist
1. find: <string>pci14e4,43a0</string> Native (select one)
* add: <string>pci14e4,43b1</string> For BCM94352
5. Save
6. Move to Desktop
7. Run kext installer (kext utility)
8. Restart
