Upgraded 10.7.3 to 10.7.5 - Apps not opening

About 4 months back built an AMD Bulldozer 8 core Hackintosh, the support for this processor is minimal so it was a journey to hell and back to get the thing running.. Was on 10.7.3, had ran pretty much flawlessly until I decided that I wanted to run Logic X which i'd heard worked on 10.7.5 so risked the update, and it works, Logic works, but it's only my Apple apps that work (from what I've seen so far). Have tried updating apps, reinstalling and such, but no luck. I am quite a newbie, unfortunately, so any help would be much appreciated. Could this be something to do with Kexts?
