So I went out and bought a new video card Radeon HD 6870 and I'm trying to enable HDMI audio
I'm using an ASUS P5Q Pro...modded bios of course
I installed 10.6.8 update, then I used EasyBeast to install Chimera and such
Plugging the TV directly into the HDMI slot is a no go but when connect the HDMI to DVI I get video and QE/CI
But I'm trying to get HDMI audio through the TV and I'm lost. I installed the ALC1200 drivers for onboard audio and it works correctly.
I look in System Profile and Sound and I get this
System Profile.png
Sound Profile.png
So it knows that there's some HDMI goodness somewhere around there.
But I keep getting errors when trying to compile the DSDTs?
Should I just forgo the whole Snow Leopard thing and update to Lion? Did I install an improper kext??
