I've been running my Hackintosh for 6 years or so. I've upgraded with little trouble through Mohave. I have not been able to upgrade to Catalina. The regular upgrade process just hangs. It's a bad deal. I've got a little time this weekend so I decided to do a fresh install on a new SSD. Following the instructions, I've made 3 boot drives with UniBeast on my Mohave hack. None of them works. I did two in UEFI mode and 1 in Legacy mode. I'm pretty sure my motherboard supports UEFI mode. But trying to boot from those 2 got me error messages saying the drive couldn't be found. Trying to boot from the Legacy mode drive gave me a system panic. As anyone else seen these issues? I'm going to try to create a drive from my Catalina MBPro but I'm hoping for some information. Thank you,

I figured it out. I was formatting the boot USB incorrectly. When I formatted it as a GUID, it worked.
