Hi there.
I've updated my hackintosh from Big Sur to monterey recently.
Everything works well except the Time issue.
After I updated to Monterey, System date will reset to 1999 every time it boot. I need to cancle the automatic setting and reapply it to synchronize with the server.
The time reset doesn't affect the cmos setting/windows time.
What should I do to solve it?

I have the exact same problem on Catalina with Opencore. Time/Date is correct in BIOS but everytime I boot I get "system clock is incorrect" and it resets to 1999. I can change the Time/Date manually, but it doesn't affect the BIOS time/date, and when I reboot I'm back to 1999

First, try a NvramReset from the OpenCore boot screen, reboot the system after resetting/clearing the NVRAM.

Second, leave the macOS system time set manually.

See if the time survives a system reboot.

Third, try using the Server Time option, see if that survives a system reboot.

Hi Guys,

I have the same problem. I couldn't solve it by following the steps below:

First, try a NvramReset from the OpenCore boot screen, reboot the system after resetting/clearing the NVRAM.

Second, leave the macOS system time set manually.

See if the time survives a system reboot.

Third, try using the Server Time option, see if that survives a system reboot.

How did you resolve?
