Hey folks,

while "playing around" with my Hackintosh i got many kernel panics and had to reinstall OSX about 20 times if even my EFI Boot-CD could not boot up the System again. I checked Time Machine and it works quite fine - only ****ed up my Charmeleon 2.0.

I`m wondering if its possible to add the SL DVD Content to my Time Machine harddrive, so i can boot it directly and do the restore without DVD.

Thanks for all advices

You should be able to make your Time Machine drive bootable. Just do an install on it.

As for not needing the disk, I think Time Machine requires it. I guess do a search.

Maybe you would be better off with a bootable backup solution - SuperDuper and CarbonCopy Cloner. This can be used in conjunction with Time Machine if you have the space.
