[SUCCESS] Gigabyte GA-H87-HD3 For Mac OSX Mavericks and Yosemite

Before you started and to avoid any unnecessary questions, I want to clarify that I do not have a real Mac ^^
I could not see the point of making me a Hackintoch, if I had the means to buy one ^^
As the purchase of my components is coincidental ^^ I thank my seller.
Finally I board had only one difficulty after installation, this is my good old MadCatz RAT5 (I just install the MadCatz App)


MotherBoard : Gigabyte GA-H87-HD3 (Bios F9)
CPU : Intel I-5 4440 HASWELL – 3,10 Ghz – Socket 1150
Ram : DDR(3) – 4 Go 1600 Mhz x 2
1st -> Graphics Card : Integrated Intel HD 4600 1Go
2nd -> Graphics Card : Gigabyte GTX-750 Ti 2Go (Coming Soon)
Supply : ATX Gigabyte 570W – 80 Plus

1) OSX Mavericks

To start resetting the BIOS by default and used the following parameters:
xHCI mode = auto
xHCI Hand Off = enabled
EHCI Hand Off = enabled
Vt-D disabled

Follow the tonymacx86 installation guide for Mavericks for create your UniBeast USB key.
Follow the tonymacx86 guide for Install your OS X normally.


Now use MultiBeast for Mavericks and select the following config :
Quick Start > DSDT Free
Drivers > Audio > ALC892 codec
Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party SATA
Drivers > Disk > TRIM Enabler > 10.9.0 TRIM Patch
Drivers > Graphics > Intel Graphics Patch for Mixed Configurations
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.9.1315
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.9.1315 Plugins
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.9.1315 HWMonitor Application
Drivers > Misc > USB 3.0 - Universal by Zenith432
Drivers > Network > Intel - AppleIntelE1000e v2.5.4d
Drivers > System > AppleRTC Patch for CMOS Reset
Bootloaders > Chimera v3.0.1
Customize > Boot Options > Basic Boot Options
Customize > Boot Options > Generate CPU States

Reboot your PC without the UniBeast USB Key.

2) OSX Yosemite

To start resetting the BIOS by default and used the following parameters:

Follow the tonymacx86 installation guide for Yosemite to create your UniBeast USB key.
Follow the tonymacx86 guide to install your OS X normally.


It is possible that you may face difficulties in launching your OS X Yosemite then you do will be worth "space" in the bootloader chimera and use the -x (I advise you to keep a key to MultiBeast on Mac Journaled format)

Now use MultiBeast for Yosemite and select the following config :
Quick Start > DSDT Free
Drivers > Audio > ALC892 codec
Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party eSATA
Drivers > Disk > TRIM Enabler > 10.10.3 TRIM Patch
Drivers > Graphics > Intel Graphics Patch for Mixed Configurations

Go to (your disk)/Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist and check the following argument, if there are missing put the following argument between <dict>

<key>Arguments</key>
<string>kext-dev-mode=1</string>


Launch MultiBeast again and just select (drivers->disk->trim enabled-> trim patch) then restart your PC.

Remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext from /System/Library/Extensions/, and, in the Terminal, execute the following command:

sudo touch /System/Library/Extension
Then reboot.
